Default My damn back is out!

Well i bought a new trailer for my quads yesterday. I un hooked the trailer from the jeep and grabbed a hold of the tongue in order to move it closer to the garage, when i did that i felt a pop and a shooting pain up my spine, i went inside and sat in my recliner. My body then locked up and i began having muscle spasms. It was so painful i was yelling for my neighbor to help me. My wife and kids were at the dr. I ended up having to call 911. The ambulance picked me up and i went to Good Samaritan. Come to find out i tore the ligaments attached to my lower disk. They cant do surgery on it. All i can do is lay here now for a minimum of a week. And i start physical therapy next week. IM hoping i can get back to work soon! Anyways just thought id fill ya all in. No wheeling for me for a while!

Dude that sucks. Seriously though. Do what the therapist tells you to do. Do not rush back to work. Let it heal trust me on this one.
I thought I was superman. Eat vicodan and go back to work, play hockey, snowboard ect. My back now has permanent nerve damage. The pain will never go away. So as gay as it sounds. Take care of it.

Good luck man, I hope you heal up soon

I have a spinal fusion from L4 to the pelvis and it hurts every day. So take good care to heal it all the way.

Dude that can't be any fun. I have had 6 of my nerve endings cauterized, it didn't do much for the pain. I couldn't imagine that.

Not to hijack your thread here, but I am curious now. Do any of you guys with back pain use anything other than the stock xj seats? Ive been looking around for other seats but really don't want to just order something random and hope its comfy.

It's crazy how many of us have back problems, good luck trying to take it easy. That time off will feel like forever, till it's over.

I actually just installed the grand cherokee leather power seats they are like riding on a cloud. I bolted them directly to the cherokee brackets and wired up the controls, the lumbar support is a life saver!
