Im new but i need some jeep help!!
So i got this jeep as a part trade from a guy.. Its what i would call highly modified.
When i got it the wiring was a total rats mess. so much so that with the headlights on the buzzer is on all the time.. under dash connectors have been clipped and its a big mess..
So the title says its a 92 however the wiring diagrams for the 92 dont seem to match, If anyone in the PDX area would mind swinging by for a beer or 6 some good company maybe a bbq burger or something and help me compare my wiring mess to their reasonably factory car?
my e-mail is jott5555@gmail.com i would really appreciated any help i would even kick you some money
Thanks
Jon

***Update**
So today i got most of it cleaned up.. i installed a new ignition as the previous owner bypassed the factory ignition and put in an after market key switch. Right now everthing posts fine everthing works however it wont turn over when the key is applied to the start position.
there are still several plugs in the engine bay unplugged and a few under the dash, I checked all the fuses and relays they were good.
On a side note the electric aux fan is still wired to kick on when the ignition is in the on position. however i cannot find the splice unless thats a factory feature?
Thanks!!

A Volt Olm meter will be your best friend when fixing a Cherokee. Also having a copy of the wiring diagram for your year is a good idea. Also someone may have swapped engines prior to you owning it. I wish you all the best of luck. I had some minor electrical issues with my 97 and I know your pain.

Why are the jeep wiring systems so shoddy? it seems like everyone at one time or another has had massive wiring issues..
