Man you guys and this early start, my headlights are not even bright enough to drive on streets. my crew is gonna meet at 7 in yelm and then head up there should make it by 8. But I am gonna try and push people to an earlier start. I am trying to convince a guy at work that paid like 7000 for his XJ to go. It is so nice and pretty straight panels and all. So far I got 3 xj's 2 Fj's and a silverado. Gonna be fun watching him bang up his bed. Can't wait to for this trip.

Bobby it doesn't matter what time you get there. When you get to the Elbe Hills campground give me or Branden a shout on CB channel 33 or shoot one of us a call or text. The trails in this place are all literally end to end except for the Busy Wild. No matter where we are, we will be close to a junction where you later guys can throw in with us. I don't plan on running Busy Wild unless the rest of the trails are just stupid easy...and I really don't expect that to be the case as wet as it has been. So, get there when you can and we will get you hooked up with the rest of us. LOL...it's pretty much looking like Branden and I are going to be the 7:00am crew. If it looks like the Snow Jam guys aren't going to be a problem, we may just have to roll back into Elbe and find some biscuits and gravy while we are waiting for the rest of you to show up.

WOW!! A $7000 dollar XJ. That sucker better be on a long arm kit with 1 ton running gear and 44s for that much. If it's a stock XJ I don't care if it is a 2001 limited edition 100th year silver /gold anniversary edition. This day and age an XJ is not worth $7000.

So the value goes up the more you use it right. Mine is pretty rare with the dana 44 and the plaid seat pattern, there has never been a more desirable XJ.

LMAO.....I do stand corrected. I forget I wheel with guys who have the ultra rarest of Cherokees. All the "work done by owner" that's been done to all of your XJs makes them each worth a million in my opinion.

I will be there at 7:00am, I have never been up there but I am sure I can find it. Also I will run with you guys as long as you think my XJ can make through. I have your number and a CB channel you guys are running. Like I said Early on in this thread. So basically I will be there a little before 7. Thanks for planning this trip. Its a great way to meet some local guys that like to wheel.

Ryan, I just looked back to your first post on this thread. Your Jeep is basically set up just like mine except I have lockers. I think your Jeep will keep up just fine. My son's Cherokee is set up just like mine minus lockers and he keeps up and makes it through about 95% of what I make it through. The other 5% I make it through and he doesn't is mainly because of the lockers and I'm caring less and less about body damage these days...lol. A little bit of common sense and driving skill goes a long way. I am probably the oldest guy in this group but I have learned a lot while wheeling with these guys. Branden taught me that driving in 4HI in deep snow will keep you going rather than causuing you to dig in and get stuck from driving in 4LO on the forest service roads. Tim taught me how to make forward progress going up hill on solid ice. I first saw him do it and while pulling a guy in a Samurai!! I will probably learn even more on this trip so if you watch these guys you most likely will learn something too. I look forward to meeting you in the parking lot at 7ish. See you there. As you roll through Elbe and head out Hwy. 706 toward Elbe Hills keep a look out on the side of the road for a montrous looking Green 98 XJ and a dented up 91 XJ...That will be Branden and I.

It sounds like fun and a great place to learn a few more skills. Hew any chance do you know any place that I can get a replacement winch cable around Tacoma area (5/16" 125 FT XD9000i) Mine has a few kinks and also near where the hook should be its started to fray some. I thought I might wanna replace it before the run. If you or anyone knows where a local cable/rigging store is that stocks the size let me know. I found them online though not sure if it will make it in time.
