The group you call "originals" I call the "Regulars". It is a constantly growing group because every time a wheeling trip is announced, everybody on the forum is invited. When a new guy shows up he introduces himself. If that guy goes on a second wheeling trip he becomes a Regular. There has never been a "new guy" group that I know of. That must be a new thing that happened while I was out of the country. I really hope all of the guys in your "new guy" group come to Elbe then we can all have a big grip and grin and be one big Cherokeeforum NW chapter wheeling group again. I don't know why you never showed up for another forum wheeling run with the "Regulars" after your ride along at the last Elbe camp out wheeling run. I seem to remember starting several wheeling run threads and you would post a reply starting with "I'd like to come along but...." and you'd never showed up at any of them. How about no more excuses. No more worrying about any body saying anything to you or about you. No more worrying about being that guy. Just come out to Elbe in May for the camp out and wheel with us. It's the best way to get yourself "established". If after that you want to go back to Jeepin with your new guy group well that choice is yours to make. Just know you are invited unconditionally.
Then let's turn over a new leaf. If Tim will be there, cya all in may!

Ok guys, I stare at this forum for hours at a time but I don't respond to a whole lot. I asked the wife if she would like to go camping in may and she said yes. Woo hoo!! Now I just have to make sure of my training schedule for may be cause we go to cali in june. I ill invite my buddy ( the mechanic) to see if he wants to roll up also in his truck. I am very new to the offroad scene but I think the xj will be alright. It will have a new bumper and winch before then, might even change the shocks and extend the brakelines depending on cash flow.

Wow!! I think this is the first whole day this thread has sat idle since I started it. Well, if everybody actually shows up that has said they want to come, we are going to have a big crowd.

So, I was looking around online tonight for the most recent video I could find of guys wheeling Elbe. What I came up with was on November 28, 2013 these two guys were wheeling in a white CJ with lockers but bald *** all terrains and a black Wrongler with good mud tires but open diffs. It was wet but the water in the mud holes wasn't as deep as I've seen before at Elbe. I couldn't tell what trail they were on but it definitely was NOT the Busy Wild. These guys were struggling on easy obstacles but they were making it through the trail. So, unless Elbe gets some snow or a ton of rain between now and May it should just be nice and muddy but, the water holes won't be so deep. So, good times!!!!!!
