in made a little progress over the last year, one day I might get an actual lift for it to replace the budget boost so I can go from 33s to 35s. This will be my first elbe trip so I am up for running all the trails

You know I'm going to stick close to you buddy. If you decide to submerge your Jeep again, Jose will need my help to get you out...LMAO!!!

I'm sure Chris will come but he hasn't told me yes for sure. That's why I didn't put him in the line up. He has a new D30 axle he is building into a Super 30. He mentioned needing to get it done in time so I'm sure he will be there.

I'm in for sure. I never been to Elbe wheeling in my cherokee. Is there any tire size restrictions for trails and stuff? I'm locked front rear with 35's Belly skid, rockers, snorkel and winch

The trails are all marked at the trail heads with "Recommended" minimum tire size, etc. I personally don't have a minimum lift, tire size, winch or locker requirement for wheeling runs I coordinate. I simply challenge each driver to bring his or her rig equipped to NOT be a burden on the others who are there to enjoy the trails. That quite simply goes back to what I said before. Have the tools, parts and "know-how" to fix your own jeep if it breaks. Have a winch or at least front and rear tow hooks so if your rig gets stuck it can easily be unstuck so as not to hold up a line of Jeeps on a given trail. One last thing, and this seems to be hard for some guys, don't take your jeep on a trail that it is not equipped to make it through. Our one and only hick up to a totally fun weekend on the last Elbe Hills camp out wheeling run was an incident where a guy completely destroyed his Jeep by bashing his way through the Busy Wild when his Jeep obviously wasn't set up for it. We were out on the Busy Wild late into the night getting his Jeep out. I don't want a repeat of that situation. My "Shotgun" seat is always open to anybody who wants to make an adult decision and decide their Jeep isn't set up good enough for the Busy Wild, yet. The only thing you may have to do to pay for the ride is pull winch cable...LOL. I have yet to make it all the way through the Busy Wild without the winch other than in the summer time when it is dry.

My old Jeep never had tires bigger than 33's. My new Jeep will be on 35's so maybe it will surprise me. I NEVER underestimate the Busy Wild, though. It is a constantly changing trail as it gets ripped up every year from guys getting stuck trying to conquer it. Every time I've gone back to Elbe the Busy Wild is different than I remember it from before.

Maybe my truck will be done by then, the Jeep isn't really big enough for Elbe, in fact last time I went I pulled my T-case skid off. Neverbeen offroading in the truck, although it'll definitely have the torque to conquer rocks and the D60/80 is pretty stout
