Default ZJ disk swap

Found a zj d35 complete with disk for 100 bucks. Is that a good deal to swap the disk to my 29 spline 8.25? I couldn't find a writeup on it so how would I
do this?

Axle is complete with everything just needs new pads which shouldn't b to much. Is the proportioning valve needed for the swap or just another upgrade? And gracias for the link that looks like it has all the info on the swap

If you change your mind let me know. I wouldn't think you'd want to go from the 8.25 to a D35, I thought that was a smaller axle from the 8.25. If you don't, I've been looking for those discs to do the brake conversion & I'm "Denverish" too.

Not swapping whole axle just the brakes. And just talked to the guy and I'm headed down the hill in a little bit to pick it up

rear disk brakes will require more pressure since they arent "self energizing" like drums are, the stock XJ Proportioning valve will cause you to nose dive and not have proper pressure to the rear brakes, you need the Proportioning valve.

the proportioning valve is right off of the brake booster... ITs that little solid metal block that your hard lines connect too.

But when you do the swap do a write up with pictures for all of us on the forum please
