dealt with a few nests, strong insect spray will kill them pretty quick, as will a propane torch (not recommended for inside a vehicle though)

as others have mentioned, some that are not in the nest at the time of mass killing may return and attack

I would suggest at least 2 layers of protective clothing covering the entire body may protect you enough (may not either)

there are different types over here, various big black and yellow ones, and much smaller all black ones that sting repeatedly with a poisoning effect

I would be very wary of that type, but yours are probably different to the ones over here

Another good killer is carb cleaner. I can remember my grandfather killing a small nest that was between the rear hatch gap on his 85 with carb cleaner. It sprayed quite a few feet as I can remember, and they dropped instantly. Brake clean would probably also work as well, and also serve a purpose for wrenching.

The best stuff is by Spectracide. It is Spectracide PRO. It is in a black and white can sold at Home Depot. Get the “PRO” version. It is much stronger than any other bug killer. It will drop them quickly. They do not fly away after being hit with this stuff. A contractor friend buys it by the case. He is the one who told me about it. I keep 5-6 cans handy at all times at my house. Good stuff.
