Default New trans issues

Hi guys I'm stumped and this is my last resort now I have a 99 Cherokee sport and the trans went out so I replaced it and for some reason now it still will now work at all. Nothing works at all, I put it in drive, or reverse and nothing. The fluid is full. So I have no idea I'm stumped so can someone tell me what I'm missing

So I swapped out a bad trans and now my new trans will not work and idk why. I put it in gear and I get nothing. The transfer case is fine I know that but I really can't think of any reason why it would not be working..... need a lil help

Do post #23 in the link below. It will tell you if there could be a problem with the torque converter or trans pump.

Could be a few other causes:

Common Problems That Trigger the P0743 Code
-Defective Torque Converter Lockup Solenoid
-Defective Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
-Defective Torque Converter Clutch
-Defective Valve Body
-Dirty transmission fluid that restricts the hydraulic passages

Please explain, "trans will not work". That could mean a lot of things.

All I can suggest is that you check your work. What was the problem with your old transmission?

I dropped it back down and found the problem. I my old torque converter was too big and broke the pump gear so I took the old and put in on the new one with a new torque converter and it works now. The old trans had over 300k and was just burned out. The hole problem was my transfer case it went out.
