XJ Stales constantly
So, got the XJ back from the shop to replace a fuel pump.
Now, the Jeep stalls constantly. If it isn't being given gas, it'll stall. That is pretty much what it does. Though give it gas and it is fine.
What kind of checklist should I go down?
Edit: Geez. you can tell how bad my day is. Stales.... How about Stalls!

Is there any easy way to remove the CPS? It is getting dark, so was just trying to locate it, and wtf! How am I supposed to get to that?
It is just covered in oil and I am hoping that will fix the not idling issue.

Sweet, got it figured out. For all who has a Jeep that stalls whenever you let off gas, check this problem out. It may help and is super easy.
I was reading in my Haynes manual and it said in Chapter 6 iirc, that the 4.0L in the XJ has a problem with the EGR valve that causes stalling. It had a nice warning posted by it. So I took the vacuum line on it off and stuck a screw in it. Vola! It runs perfectly. So now I am just going to replace that valve.
So now I only have a few other things to do to it to make it road worthy.
Steering column, drive belt, brakes and a tire alignment. Its so exciting. All 4x4 modes still work great, and the transmission shifts very smooth. Has 260,000 miles.
