You're a simple guy aren't you? Haha I like a little more info and the more clean look of mine. Although I have only owned a 98 (parents owned a 89) but I'll never go for dummy gauges!

Just want to give a heads up for anyone with 97+ (may be same for pre 97 not sure) if you're wanting to change the lights in the 4wd and gear selector don't buy 194's from superbrightleds.. The mounting hole is 10mm and the LEDs they have are 11.4mm.
Instead buy them from vleds.com they have the correct size, 10mm.

Thanks for the heads up man! I was finally about to pull the trigger on replacing those .. will use vleds .. I used superbrightleds.com for my kick panel lights and tag lights.. so far so good .. using your wright up for the gauge ) .. you tried blue right ?

Get these too if you're doing the dome lights instead of the ones I mentioned earlier

I just put new LEDs in the gear and 4wd shifter, looks real sexxeh!
Just plain white light but some sort of regular bulb so it shines 360 degrees and no hot spots!
Big difference since i've never had light on the 4wd shifter, looking good now!
