Call me biased, but I like the look of the older style cluster better

Yours does look good though, Purple

You're a simple guy aren't you? Haha I like a little more info and the more clean look of mine. Although I have only owned a 98 (parents owned a 89) but I'll never go for dummy gauges!

Has anyone used the Amber ones? My XJ has a bit of a "Gold" theme going on, so if Amber looks close, that's what I would like to use.

Oh no no I don't mean dummy gauges. I don't know anyone who would prefer those. I meant the style cluster that austinjoe posted right before yours

Thanks, I'm liking it too. It's brighter, but it fades out when I'm looking at the roads. MUCH better on the nightvision.

Just want to give a heads up for anyone with 97+ (may be same for pre 97 not sure) if you're wanting to change the lights in the 4wd and gear selector don't buy 194's from superbrightleds.. The mounting hole is 10mm and the LEDs they have are 11.4mm.

Instead buy them from vleds.com they have the correct size, 10mm.

Tried blue first but my gauge turned purple and gear selectors turned light blue. Reds turning out much better.

Get these too if you're doing the dome lights instead of the ones I mentioned earlier

I just put new LEDs in the gear and 4wd shifter, looks real sexxeh!
Just plain white light but some sort of regular bulb so it shines 360 degrees and no hot spots!

Big difference since i've never had light on the 4wd shifter, looking good now!
