What do you mean stuck on there? And why are you trying to take the drag link off for a lift?

RE instructions call for it. When you take it off the control arms are the only thing holding the axle and you can install the lift easily without spring compressors.

Default Disc braks splask shield

I had the DEAATH WOBBLE on my 96 Cherokee 2 wheel drive...I replaced the ball joints and hub assembly. To get the hub assembly off (it was stuck pretty good) I cut the disk brake splash shield that fits between the hub assembly and the steering knuckle. How importand is this shield?

It is what it sounds like. It keeps water off the rotor. All disk brakes have em. Is it important. Probably. Like diesel said, replace it at some point so you don't get too much mud on the rotors

Default Horn only works in RUN

This is a stupid question. My horn only honks when the JEEP is in RUN. It doesn't honk with the key OFF. Is that a JEEP THING? Never had a vehicle that did that but the PO did a number on the wiring so I thought maybe he has this as a feature!

Looking at the wiring diagram, it looks like the relay doesn't have power if the switch is not in RUN.

Thanks

I know it's at least a Renix thing, so don't worry. I don't remember if my '01 had the same setup.
