XJ Ask the Question Thread
Hopefully this is the right place to ask this: I'm in the market for some new coil spacers/bushings. Any certain ones anybody would recommend? I was thinking about going with these?

I just want something simple, cheap and effective. I'm getting tired of the springs making noise while daily driving. The oem ones are shot haha

I'm going to be doing a coolant change today, I plan on just draining the old fluid, and then refilling it from the reservoir. Is there a better strategy to go about it that I can do to clean it out better? I have no problems with heating issues, just figured it's old fluid and want to do some preventative maintenance.
Hey CF, thanks for all your support, been a great help. Tackling another problem. My power locks have been not working, so I am trying to fix the issue.
Do not have a manual for my jeep, but looked online and said to check fuse box under steering column, if any fuses are shot, replace them. I did, still not working. Wondering if I am missing something.
I fixed the interior light fuse issue, dash/instrument panel light fuse issue fixed when I checked fuse box under steering column.
Send a bro some tips. Please!
Thanks

² 1st Digit—The year (8 = 1998).
² 2nd & 3rd Digits—The month (01 - 12).
² 4th & 5th Digits—The engine type/fuel system/compression ratio (MX = A 4.0 Liter (242 CID) 8.7:1 compression ratio engine with a multi-point fuel injection system).
² 6th & 7th Digits—The day of engine build (01 -31).
FOR EXAMPLE: Code * 801MX12 * identifies a 4.0 Liter (242 CID) engine with a multi-point

Fwiw- I went with rc 3" aal series 2 from grimus (jason) on the vendor forum for an incredible price. I am very happy with it and a year later, no noticable sag from aal. I later bought rc disco's that i very infrequently reconnect.
I didnt need an sye, tc drop, adustable trac bar, ext brake lines (didnt even rebend), and i wheel the dog snot out my rig. Just goes to show how different the tolerences can be. Start simple and work out the bugs as u go.

Working on changing the coolant and flushing it out. Does anyone have any pics or any advice as to where the block drain plug is? To do a complete flush the haynes manual say to drain the radiator and block. But I can't find the plug they mention.

Just flush from the coolant hoses and be done with it, unless your junk is REALLLLLLLY bad (opaque brown/red)

not worth the effort. It's behind/under the exhaust manifold, but it's a square hole, and it's something like 5/16" or 8mm, which you have to either make a tool for, or spend $$$$ on the correct size.
