First off thank you very much for the info. How do I check the fuel pressure? How would I know whether or not the fuel pump is coming on, doesnt it have to come on to start the truck? Where is the CPS?

Check the fuel pressure using the schrader valve on the fuel rail. You can get a gauge from an auto parts store.
yes the fuel pump must pressurize the system, usually it comes on for a second or two if you have the engine off and the ignition key in the "ON" position. You may have to use a helper to turn the key to "ON" while you listen at the fuel tank if you can't hear it.
The CPS should be located on the rear driver's side of the motor mounted on the bell housing.

Will 2" shackles work? The front looks OK. The rear looks like it could use a bit more room. Im definately on a tight budget. I had them on my 96 with 3" blocks and the back looked too high, but it worked.
help. does anyone use 2" shackles?

I plan on installing a new muffler and cat this weekend and I may go with the flowmaster super 40 for the muffler but I though about just going with the cat that is in stock at Advanced auto. Would this be horrible? if so where could I get one for a good price?

Keep it simple. get a factory replacement. cats can mess up the ODBII computers signal. AKA check engine light will come on if you get the wrong cat.

Hey guys i just got a couple quick odd ball questions
Anyone know the thread pitch of the exhaust studs on the 4.0? also the stud width. i need to find a nut just need to know dimensions if possible.
Also, on my front axle (stock dana 30) with the diff cover off i can spin the input shaft and the right (side gear) turns but the right tire does not. i know i dont have a vacuum actuator on the axle. is that rf axle shaft snapped or is there some other axle shaft dissconnect system i should know about.
thanks!

I've got more oil leaks than I can handle at this point, lol.
I got a quote of $410 for what is considered a reputable Jeep and 4x4 shop to replace the 3 o-rings on the oil filter adapter, the pan gasket, and the rear main seal. Does that sound fair to you guys?
