No!!!! Not at all. Was talking about me. I do that but did not have a clue. In my mind it just made sense. But whether I was right or wrong again not a clue.

Does the prestone radiator flush and cleaner even do anything or is it a gimmick?

Default 1988 turbo diesel jeep cherokee 4x4 xj need help appraising

Hi there, new to forums and wasn’t sure where or how to post this but I was wondering if you guys could help me with a valuation on my Turbo Diesel Cherokee, as i have yet to see another one in the entire country. Ive spoken with one man who sold one 10 years ago and he said he sold his for $7000, I am looking for a second opinion. Mine has a clean title, 240k original miles, and runs and drives great. 4 high and low both work great. Has a lift on it with decent tires, thanks!

Default XJ Radiator purchase

It used to be when you bought an XJ radiator, you had to take out a small loan (aluminum radiator from the most popular parts site $1,000.00+!!!) Now because XJ crazies are everywhere a simple Google search " 19?? Jeep XJ aluminum radiator for sale", will bring up a whole bunch of choices..under $200.00 for a 3 core! Then it's just a quick trip to the junkyard to find electric fans and an Amazon relay package..and your gold. Always run an external ATF cooler with it's own baby electric fan. I run both a Temp. Sensor activated fans and a switch override for when I get jiggy in the Mtn's

Oh boy!! I had to jump on this..I have been getting folks mad for some time now with my passion for D60 XJ's...I haven't visited that in a while so why not now..In N.Ga. it is not that uncommon to see a D60 XJ running a Turbo 4BT diesel..and boy does it make a pulling monster!!!.I'm gonna hate myself for this but companies like Fed Ex etc.replace their diesel engines with high mileage and if your lucky, you can find a running 4BT with it's injection pump for $500.00...Yep $500.00. Then all you have to do is put Twin Turbo's on it and shazam..I'm in the middle of my build now when I get time off building bikes.. Please don't slam me again for my Franklin Jeeps LOL

What would cause a muffler to blow apart? XJ Ask the Question Thread-photo658.jpgXJ Ask the Question Thread-photo545.jpg I'm assuming when it was stumbling it was also backfiring, but the muffler was muffling it to the point I couldn't tell it was back firing and it backfired and blew the muffler up. I still am stumped as to why it stumbles and backfires though.

It happens. I blew the muffler clean open on my Comanche when I dropped into an icy mud hole. It was split end to end and peeled all the way back to the sides, but I don't have the pictures handy

I'm looking for 746 injectors for my renix Comanche. None of the eBay listings have the part number is there a distinct feature to look for in the photo or something? Or does someone know where to get a set?
