Default Swaybar

Kids drive this Jeep Cherokee so I need the swaybar. My kids are nice, but they drive like their mother. Fast, a bit crazy and without much concern of what might happen.

The sway bar is not bent my only concern is the condition of the connection to swaybar links. Are these too distorted/rounded out or are they fine and I am being OCD?

Edit - These are the ends of the swaybar. I have purchased new swaybar links and swaybar bushings.

I bought all new end-links and poly bushings for about $30. I think it might be worth it just to get new ones.

sorry i hadn't seen your reply before. i'll try that before putting the diff cover back on so at least I don't fill it up and all for nothing. somehow i figured I'd have to also put the wheel back on to try it and the way it sits now I have no idea how I could've done that. i'll try with that shaft alone thanks.

That's ridiculous. I had that shipped to my door for about $13us each...

Default Rear Bumper replacement.

I have just acquired my Papaws 1991 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. The rear bumper is dented and I am hoping to locate another grey stock bumper. I am unfamiliar with Jeeps and was wondering what years used the same bumper so I can find an exact match. I am wanting to keep this Jeep as stock and original looking as possible. Thanks for any information you can spare.

Thanks for that! Yes, it only has 80K miles. I know the possibilities are endless, but this Jeep meant a lot to him and it means a lot to me and has alot of sentimental value. I plan to keep it stock and do a complete overhaul. Change out ALL oils, plugs, wires, filters, etc as it has only been driven under 200 miles the past 5 years.

Maybe the door connectors. Can you be more specific? Nothing under the hood is the same.

That's about what I'd expect from Rock Auto. Once you throw in shipping and exchange...

But I'm sure retail stores here want $70 each.

I've been searching for this for a while, but can't find clean info...

I've got a 98 Cherokee SE, want to make sure I'm gettin' the right stuff to do the V8 ZJ tie rod upgrade.

These 3 are in my cart on Amazon:

other questions...
- I'm finding conflicting information and some people seem to have bought DS1238 https://www.amazon.com/Moog-DS1238-T.../dp/B000C5402M . Is this what I should be getting instead. Again I'm after the beefier ZJ version.

- do I need to get some grease and grease up the inside of the sleeves?

thank you in advance

What you have in your cart is correct. I wouldn't concern yourself with grease. There will be machining oil on the inside of the threads when you get them.
