You're doing it wrong. Figure out what your requirements are for a jack and then buy one based on that. What height everybody else uses is totally irrelevant as everybody's setup is different.

"Hi Lift" is the most common brand.

His muffler bearing maintenance video was fantastic. Went outside and did it in 5 minutes, easy peasy.

This thread is so daffy I'll have to watch 4 episodes of The 3 Stooges back-to-back to get my head back to normal.

Default Engine lope

Alright. I need some help. I have a slight engine lope at idle. It jumps from maybe 500 to 800 rpm every 10 seconds or so, but it only does this when the heat or AC is on. When I turn the dial all the way to the "o", the engine does not lope.
I was told it might be the TPS, so I replaced that, but it did not fix it.
I was also told to clean the throttle body and the IAC, so I did that a few days ago, but that also did not fix it.

Both of these attempts did seem to make the Jeep run better and idle better in general, but the lope is still there when either the heat or AC is turned on.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Had it scanned for codes?

Take it to one of the local parts stores that do it for free. They can scan for codes and check your battery, alternater, starter, and charging system. They'll give you a print out of the results.

Do it when you pull the headlights on?

Will do, thanks.

I'm not sure what you are asking there at the end. If you are asking if the engine lopes when I pull the headlights on, no, it doesn't. If you are asking if I get any lights or codes when I pull the headlights on, also no.

I was just wondering if it loped when any of the other accessory/accessories were turned on.

Let us know how the scan goes.
