I figured out why my window wasn't rolling all the way up! My upper mounting bracket broke. The picture of my old one which is still intact.

So I thought that'd I'd just take the motor off the old track and and put my new motor on the old track. Well after I drilled out the rivets holding the motor on, the mounting plate came off, how is it attached? It doesn't looked welded or anything, and is there anyway I can fix it?

Ok thanks. The MOPAR is $5 more than the Echlin so I'll probably just get the MOPAR.

I have been on here for a couple years and while my post count is low I pretty much know who to listen to around here. Since I found a topic you don't have experience with do I get a prize. This has to be a first. LOL

So just find one the same diameter and call it good? Any RTV or anything needed?

Yep. NO RTV.

When build a 4.0 from scratch, the only place I use RTV is at the squared corners of the oil pan gasket.

96 jeep Cherokee no taillights changed fuse #7 taillights come on but no flashing changed electronic flasher then no taillights at all opened up the back left panel behind the spare tire and took out the left taillight and found the wires to the to for the towing lights wiring had been shredded by a rat or something I moved them around I got taillights yet again no flashing nothing just all lights worked and my Park lights but nothing happens to my break lights when I press the breaks and my lights work in my instrument panel and my Inside lights as well. Except for my turn signal instrument lights in the panel the ones that tell you that you which light is flashing they don't work and I spliced the frayed wires together correctly and then nothing but Park lights and are in constantly.
