Default 1996 jeep Cherokee 4.0 country loss power from batttery

I have had some issues with the NSS having to switch to neutral, to start, jiggle shifter etc,, However today i shut jeep off after long no issue drive and then quickly went to start again to move it and the key hesitated to turn, moved the shifter and went to start, nothing! with key in the on position no power to anything interior, no power to hood light, havent checked head or tail lights though. So I know battery is new, alt is good and battery terminals are clean. Hooked up jump cables got jeep to turn over and start briefly ran rough and shut off, then would turn over but not start. Read other post/forums on here sounds like it could be ignition switch, nss, CPS but looking for some suggestions before I start with all these options

I believe that is out of production indefinitely. They don't have the production capacity from what I understand. Call them and ask

so i got into a small fender bender with a guard rail that won. finally got the replacement bumper and its the wrong one. for the 98 and earlier xj's, i have a 99. the top lip of the bumper is different. the 99 bumper is flat on the top and simply ends as where this bumper is also flat but then it curls over at a 90* for the mounting holes. is there anyway i can make this bumper work on my 99 xj, just wondering because the company is really fighting with me to not accept the return.

thanks for any help

my bad its actually the '84-'90 bumper that i received

Was the bumper listed as an 84-90? If it wasn't then they need to fix their mistake and send you the right one.

Oh and the serious answer, it should be fine. I've asked this before. People swear they've done 65 in it.

Hey guys, so yesterday I got my ball joints and a front bearings changed after I hit a sidewalk earlier this winter. I also have a sound coming from the right driver's side. At first I thought it could be a bearing, so I asked my mechanic to check it out while he was doing the rest, but everything seemed fine, told me it could be the sway bar and I told him he could remove it.

Now I drove to work this morning and still have the same sound and I have no clue what it is. It's probably nothing important, but it gets really annoying when I hit bumps. Any idea what it could be? Check the video below for the sound in question. (it starts at around 5 seconds in)

Thanks!
