This honestly depends on the JY. My dad was looking for an AC compressor for my sister's 99 XJ, and the local jy wanted $110 for one with no warranty, and Dad wouldn't have known if it actually worked or not. He looked it up, and a reman was (i think) $120. He just ended up getting a dummy pulley to keep her going until spring, but anyway.. It pretty much depends on the JY. results may vary.
It depends.. How many coats? Just the top? HVLP, or brush-on?

According to the price sheet at the JY I went to recently it would be $40.91. Definitely varies at every JY. I usually see hoods on Craigslist for $25.

so in response to an earlier question about my airbag light after transmission swap, I tried my horn and it didn't work. I quit trouble shooting there(lazy), since my donor jeep is available, I'll probably swap clock springs and go from there.
new issue, I did an experiment to try for a 2" boost in the rear with the donor leaf pack, and added the main and 2nd to my stock leaf pack, so 6 leaf's on each side. I ended up with about 3" on one side and 1" on the other. dangit. My guess is I mixed up the 2nd springs from each pack, meaning donor 2nd leaf x2 on one side and recipient 2nd leaf x2 on the other.
I was going to swap the 2nd leaf(as if we were talking about a stock pack). Think that would fix it?

I am thinking about doing a tranny fluid change (drain pan, add 4 qts) in my AW4.
Would this fluid work that I have linked? http://www.valvoline.com/products/br...ssion-fluid/37
It says DEX/MERC and not DEXIII/MERC. Although it says it's compatible with DEXIII. Do you guys have any thoughts on that? Is it fine to use?
Thanks

Yes. The Dexron III name is actually owned by GM. It's a bit old and they stopped licensing the trademark to manufacturers. All that D/M stuff is the same formulation, they just can't write "Dexron" anymore unless they want to get sued.

As title states I have an APN header installed on my 98 jeep cherokee and now 9-11 months later it has cracked at the collector. I am sure they will warranty it out. I was wondering since I dented it in on the 6th pipe to be able to run the 99+ intake ( which I took off) do you all still think they will warranty it out with the dent? Or should I just try an see if I can weld it up? I have not taken it off yet to inspect further but plan on it this weekend. I did replace the motor mounts and tranny mount when I installed the header. Thanks guys just let me know.
Thought maybe I should put this here and see what I can get.
