I see.

Any speculation as to what could cause it? It kind of feels like its getting starved for fuel slightly.

Btw it did this before and after the tune up last year. Also this problem isn't all that annoying and nothing else seems to be wrong. I'd just like to fix it/find out what it is before it snowballs into a real problem...

Could an o2 sensor cause it? In know my downstream is shorted out and malfunctioning (it threw a code) the upstream is working but likely is original or at least old. Lol

When's the last time it had a complete tune-up?
Last time It had a tune up is two years ago but I pulled a plug and it looked new

Yeah an O2 could under other conditions but if this problem happens before it's warmed up the O2 won't be in the loop.

I'd certainly chase the TPS route. tjwalker has a nice writeup he likes pasting on how to test them.

Unless you are talking about the small area in the valence to put them in... Dont know how you would mount them there and i think they are too big.

I was talking about the cut outs in the valence vs in front of the grill.

Leave the TPS and MAP alone except to clean the connectors. concentrate on the throttle body and IAC.

[QUOTE="luckyunblock;2432768"]I'm looking at putting a zj pitman arm on my 97 Cherokee that has a 4.5" lift. My pitman arm seems to torque my drag bar instead of pushing and pulling it smoothly. I also have an adjustable track bar. The drag bar and track bar are NOT parrell with each other. Would this fix the issue ?

Ok so I apparently have a small exhaust leak thats most likely up around the headers or the headers themselves. Would this cause a gas fume smell? I just noticed this smell yesterday.

Also, I have a horrible squeak that makes me want to light this thing on fire. The squeak randomly starts on its own and the only way to stop is to touch the brakes. The slightest touch of the brakes, just enough to get the lights to come on, stops the squeak. As soon as I let off the brakes the squeak comes back. The squeak also speeds up as I accelerate. I've also figured out that the squeak does not occur when I turn left. But when I turn right it squeaks even louder and stronger. Brake related? Fronts? Best way to fix it?

You don't need a drop pitman arm at 4.5". Your track bar and drag link should be parallel when straight lines are made between the mounting points. The bars themselves should not be parallel.

Cracked exhaust can cause that smell, and that sound is probably the wear indicator on your front brake pads. Time for new ones.
