Ok cool and thanks for the info guys. I mean I can't say I disagree I want a reliable winch up front also. But if the HF one really is what people make it up to be I'm Ok with not needing to always buy name brand.

So is having the sway bar off supposed to be quite noticeable? Mines disconnected sincebi didnt have time for my quick discos and it honestly doesnt feel any different than when it was stock. I mean the ride itself isnt great since tbe alignments bad and om gettin good vibes since im at around 5-5.5"s but other than that its ok. I take turns at mach 3 all day long lol.

 

Nope. I havent noticed mine out until i hit a hard curve going about 85 on the interstate. I've only noticed the sway bar missing in one jeep when you drive it, but it was Flexxxxxyyyy. At 5" i've had no problems with mine with no sways.

 

Ya its weird. Everyone said itd be realy sketchy but i havent noticed. Guess i wont need my quick discos lol.

 

Has a lot to do with how stiff your coils and shocks are. Could end up being sway-ier after the coils get broken in a bit. Or your shocks go out... lol

 

The light doesnt even come on. And im almost positive the light would because my part time and full time 4 wheel drive lights works(i know a lot of them dont).

Any orther ideas? I really wanted my cruise to work.

 

Didnt see you asked about a 98, I know on my buddies 00 the light never worked.

 

Ill hit the buttons, no lights come on, and nothing happens when i let off the gas.

 

Have you ever used it before? Check the cable at the throttle body and make sure its connected. As salad said vacuum lines should definitely be checked.. 90% of cruise control problems on these jeeps is vacuum related. Just start checking the easy things first.

 

I have never used it before. Just bought this jeep a week and a half ago.

Does it have a separate fuse? Does your horn work well?

 

How would you know if your ujoints or the ball joint in a front shaft are bad? I have one for my rear when i get my sye done and the joints are dirty and greasy but they all moved fluidly and theyre spicer so most likely stock joints. But i figure why replace if theyre good right?

 

If youre talking to me; idk about the fuse and my horn works well now. New clock spring was needed.
