I can safely drive with no front driveshaft until I can get it fixed? Np231. The yoke won't fly off right

I was trying to figure out how many amps are in my ignition switch so I can install a kill switch. Oh an any tips on kill switches I got these circuit breaker buttons an switches off some airplanes.

 

^ i dont really know that much about the electrical side of the jeep but i feel that airplane circuit breakers would be much more powerful then the equivalent fuses in a car.

also a question of my own, im taking off the rear shocks and instead of getting the head that snaps off, that i was actually hoping for, the head just stripped. any ideas on how to get it the rest of the way off?

 

Kill switch as in to immobilize the Jeep? You got a few options. Fuel pump, Ignition system, and starter. I had a kill switch on my fuel pump (Until the insulation decided to break on the connectors i crimped). I just cut the wire going to the fuel pump under the seat, and put a 50amp switch on it. Mounted that in a classified location that's easy to get to to impossible to see without removing the dash.

 

Go get a bolt extraction socket kit thingy. Heat the head up with a torch then pound the socket on. You could try with a normal socket that is slightly smaller than the bolt head too. That's what I do when I strip things.

Or just cut.

 

Don't use a bolt, they make a noise when using the door, get one from the junk yard.

 

The airplane circuit breakers aren't more powerful I have different ones with different amperage. I just feel their built better because their made for airplanes and if they fail you crash.I looked around to see what I could find on amps an all I founded the max amps a alternator output is 74amps if it's cs-121, or 105amps if it's a cs-130.should I run that high because the alternator feeds electrical system an 50 amp one might be to small?
