Might just do that then. Ill look later. The jeep is currently parked at a shop because of being inspected. I would say the hole(s) are significant considering the gas marks covering the rear diff.

hey yall question i need to do a tune up on my jeep im doing the injectors this week sometime because im pulling a random misfire cyl 5 code so instead of just cleaning them im gonna switch to the 4 hole injectors and also i plan to do new plugs and wire but what else should I do? dont want to do anything major just some "spring cleaning"
and also any other suggestions on improving mpgs i drive this thing stop and go for about 35 miles a day so my mpg is terrible. its a '00 4.0 I6 auto
THANKS! (:

This is what I did and it has increased my mpg by a ton. I'm talking 5+ mpg. I was getting around 10mpg before.
Full bottle of injector cleaner in the gas tank and half bottle of seafoam in the crank case
After that tank was gone I ran 1/2 bottle of seafoam in my intake and let it soak.
After the seafoam I changed plugs, wires, cap and rotor along with the air filter. I adjusted my kickdown cable. Only thing I have left to do is my fuel filter.

Sensors aren't warmed up yet so you run rich. This is my understanding. I have the same thing. In the morning shell be rich but inlet her warm up to full op temp and smell goes away.

ive been wanting to run it thru my tC also but im wary about putting it in the vacuum lines. what is the cap and rotor? the dist cap? i was told to clean that and the throttle body. what the heck is a kickdown cable? lol and how hard is it to do the fuel filter since its inside the tank isnt it? thanks for your help pretty sure i got ripped off on what i paid for it but oh well if i do everything myself at least ill know when it was done.
oh yea and where can i get a pin for the door? not the hinges but the small pin that controls the swing of the door...the one on my drivers door broke lol

Cap is distributor cap. The rotor is underneath the cap. Cap is held on by 2 screws, pull it off and the rotor isnt held on by anything so it will pull right out.
Kickdown cable is the cable connected to your throttle body. You'll have 3. The one closest to the firewall is your accelerator cable. The middle one is the cruise control. The one closest to the bumper is your kickdown cable. Google 'Cherokee kickdown cable adjustment' and it'll show you how. Takes literally 15 seconds to do it.
Why would you be weary of putting seafoam in your vacuum lines? It is the same as slowly pouring it down the throttle body.
Fuel filter should be underneath the vehicle on the driver side behind the rear driver side wheel. Look for a canister attached to the rail with a hose on the back of it and a hose on the front of it.
If I use 50% of the seafoam for my crankcase and 50% for my intake that leaves 0% for my gas hence using injector cleaner in the gas.
