Seafoam does not hurt anything.

Period.

The only problem is when it knocks loose the built-up **** and reveals leaks or the sludge clogs something.

I run a can through each car about every 6 months. If you put it in your oil, don't drive more than ~150mi before doing an oil change.

Thats exactly the issue. Knocking crap lose. Hence if you dont take care of the engine. Op can always use gumout and use the mopar tool to run it through the injector

Got a 89 with the straight six

Does anyone know if I need to use a different belt if I'm installing a a/c bypass pulley?

Also would I be better off just using a shorter belt instead of the bypass pulley and if so by chance does anyone know the length?

Belt should stay the same.

I wouldn't just leave the AC out of the system. Might not get enough contact on the alt or fan.

It's an AC compressor delete pulley/bracket. It just takes the place of the compressor. Uses the same belt.

Can it affect the cat' in any way? - Not trolling, just curious enough to ask, but not nearly enough to search lol.

seafoam works wonders and I love it but it can knock sludge and such lose on older dirty engines which can clog ports and valves and mess up seals

yea... got mine with 294k and an ashtray that had never been cleaned. I think the oil had been in there long enough to turn back into a t-rex.

Wd40 sucks try pb plaster, and try to get it out after the exhaust has been at running temp.

WD40 is for lubrication and water displacement.

Use PB Blaster or a similar penetrating oil like Seafoam Deep Creep, Liquid Wrench, or Kroil.
