I'd be more than happy to correct you. Coolant is mixed to a curtain heat. Not to withstand "burning". But to withstand boiling. Doesn't seem like a big difference. But it's a very large difference. Bubbles. And any sort of air is a severe enemy to a cooling system. Boiling liquid causes air bubbles, introducing air into a sealed system. And that's bad.........very bad

Lol i would be proud to have an xj as my first car. Ur lucky. Check ur bulbs and fuses first. If u have an owners manual or Haynes it will point out where ur boxes are and what fuses are for what circuit.

Ones for hazards ones for turn signals rule out the cheapest stuff first.

u can get by on backs for a lil bit. thats really what most peope on the roadws pay attention too. depends on the cops in ur area. some regions ae real sticklers about blinkers. like nebraska... they write some fat tickets for blinkers.... and they dont care if they work or not. kind of like the speedometer thin out here. u cant use a non functioning speedometer as a excuse to get out of a speeding ticket...same goes for blinkers. lol i refer to my hazards as the "park anywhere button!"
