For small holes I like to grind around them down to bare metal and use a little bit of fibreglass. Then coat the entire area with roofing tar.

^^^ Should 5.25 but you also should be able to fit 6.5 speakers.

How do you remove the rear seat belt from the back truck interior panel without cutting the panels?

Strike the steering arm on the side of the stud with a BFH. Don't hit the stud.

This question will help me get my jeep back on the road...

But I wanted to know if anybody has a website, write up or a thread where it shows you in what order you need to install a tranny into your xj?? Thanks for any help.

Just so you know I have an 88 xj 4.0L, AW4 tranny, 242 x-case and its an automatic.

ok, so i am in the middle of a heatwave and it has been 90+ degrees for the past 3 days. i know it is not that hot, but my xj keeps overheating while driving around town. my coolant exploded and went everywhere, but when i checked all my fluids, everything was topped off. my transmission needs repair, so could that be the reason that it is overheating? the damaged transmission is pushing 33s.

Default Question on OME

I just got a 96 XJ, i'm slowy planning out my build but when I read threads on which lift to go with I keep running into the term "Old Man Emu" What defines Old Man Emu? I've tried to google it and just get tons of results for kits but nothing that actually tells me the difference between OME and other lifts. Thanks for the help, I'll be getting to know several of you inthe next few months haha

Hi guys, "new" Jeep owner (1990 Cherokee) here. I'm nowhere near a newbie when it comes to automotive repairs, custom builds, hot rods, etc., but I have NEVER heard of a "bastard pack" until I got on here. 2 questions- What in the world is a bastard pack, and how do I make one?!

actually i have never seen a thread where they show this, but it is pretty much straight forward, once you jack up the tranny you rotate the torque converter until the holes match and then you put the bolts from the dust hole on the bell housing.

Old Man Emu is an australian company that produces mainly shock absorbers and lift kits for the outback. They are known to provide a particularly soft ride and durability.
