Quote: Your muffler bearings must be worn out! you should replace them, and while your at it, change your headlight fluid, they dont seem to shine as bright at night anymore, and you might as well pick up a quart of elbow grease while your there just to make sure everything goes smoother while your doing this work! Just for good measure get a can of woop-*** too so you can beat up your friends when they make fun of you for trying to do all this!
what the hell are you talking about

if you don't want a vibration why not just do the s.y.e. and cv drive shaft. the 1.5 inch tc drop is a lot i am surprised you have not got cough up on that yet

the hack n tap is still your best answer if you can spare a couple of bucks. that way you can raise the t case back up so you don't hit it when wheeling

ok i went ad looked at a really good write up on how to do teh hack n tap but, im curious here...
now i know with teh hack n tap my rear DS will have a really good angle and i can take the TC drop out, but what about the front DS?? its going to be worse than it is, wont it? the reason i did a drop in the first place is with my 5" lift and the TC in stock position teh front DS rubbed the crossmember and the 1" drop helped

i have to agree i have seen xj's with about 7.5 inch lifts with the stock front drive shaft and no problems
