WJ 8.25

I have found a TON of threads regarding an 8.25 swap and from what I understand I will only need wider u-bolts. Is that only for axles that came out if a xj? I found a good deal on one from a 2000 wj and I am not sure what the difference is. Thanks.

Sure... WJs never came with C8.25s. D35 or D44a.

They're also coil-sprung and have different shock mounts.

Thank you very much. I was going off the description the guy from craigslist gave me. He may have the year wrong or doesn't know what kind of axle he has. Back on the search for an xj axle. Thanks.
