Default 1992 rebuilt engine in a 96?

Im about to buy a 1992 motor to rebuild and drop in my 96. Im looking for confirmation that this will work before i go pick up the motor. I dont see why it wouldnt other than the fact that 96 is obd2 while 92 was obd1. Any thoughts??

It will work, just need to use all the peripherals(intake, bracketry, sensors, etc etc) from your 96. The blocks are the same.
