Default would like to say thanks....

well i got my 00' cherokee sport a couple weeks ago and i love it. and thanks to this forum and its peoples i have found so many things to do to it and ways to make it even more of an awesome truck... didnt know much about the jeep when i first got it other than it was lifted, clean and had great tires on it (the rims need to go though lol) now with the help of google (did you know if you add Cherokee to the end of anything you search this site comes up pretty much lol) i figured out that my jeep had the tow package with the 8.25" cryco and 3.73 gears already. im excited because it saves me from re-gearing for a little while and i like that it is a beefier rear end then a 30 or 35.... just wanted to say thanks again to everyone here for their knowledge!

+1, I know I've learned a lot here and have been helped quite a bit!
BTW, OP...the d30 is a front axle, not rear.

Did you get a build sheet from Jeep on your XJ to tell what all came on it from the factory?

No actually I did not.... just based off of some of the stuff I looked at on here. But they will do that for jeep owners? I might have to hit a dealership up on my way home

Default Me too!

What a great crew around here! I have learned a lot about these Jeep critters from all the folks here that graciously share their time and knowledge with us!

Thanks!
