Default Injector upgrade, oring question...

I got a set of 19# injectors off of a windstar and wanted to know if everyone doing this upgrade is also replace the orings?

Have any of you use the existing orings? Did you have any problems doing so?

I was researching Rockauto and they have a from FEL-PRO Part # ES70599.

Would this work? Which one did you use?

I've read of others have problems with replacement orings. Not sealing well.

Thanks....

You should definitely put new orings. I replaced o-rings, filters, and cleaned them and they have worked fine for me

Yes, o rings are cheap and should be replaced when installing new injectors.

You can usually find a whole kit in the HELP section of your auto parts store. Im using GM LT1 injectors and just bought a set for the vehicle they came off of. Set me back 14 bucks.

If you are getting them from an auto parts store then most likely they are good injector o-rings and one store or brand won't be any different than another. I'm curious how you came up with Windstar injectors as an upgrade choice.

My guess is they are the same 19lb-hr injectors as on full-size trucks and cars.

Perhaps not an upgrade but different. I don't know if it'll make any change at all but since the factory ones have 175k on them, doesn't hurt to try a different set.

It was after a few days of searching that I found this site: http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum/...ad.php?t=92236

I picked up a set of XF2E-C4B.

The site indicates factory 21.14Lb/hr@43.5psi. XF2E-C4B 19lb/hr@43.5psi. I don't know if there will be a big difference at 49psi.
