Pull the panel off and check for the normal stuff like loose connections and like that first. If you have a voltage meter check the window motor to make sure it's getting power. I've seen the motors crap out before so it could be the motor or hopefully just a loose connection from bouncing around over the past ten years lol

The driver switch controls all the windows. Try taking the switch out and cleaning the contacts/buttons. Make sure the wires are also connected. Does the back switch move the window?...Tj

Bigboy,

My 2000 XJ pass. side and both rear windows quit on me a couple weeks back--but....they could be controlled from the drivers door.

I posted my problem, and Rockhound sent me this link:
https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/wind...working-13287/

It fixed my problem very quickly. It is very easy to bypass the window lock switch as indicated herein. I made a nice wire connection instead of the paper clip, but you can use the paper clip to verify the problem.

Let me know if this works for you--I think it will.

Dan

If It's not the switch, and the motor is getting juice check out the regulator.
