Window wont roll up what can it be

MY 2000 XJ decided one night that my rear passenger window wasn't gonna work anymore meaning it doesnt rollup or down at all fortunately it was rolled up when this happened, any ideas anyone please help me and dont keep your ideas to your self

Pull the panel off and check for the normal stuff like loose connections and like that first. If you have a voltage meter check the window motor to make sure it's getting power. I've seen the motors crap out before so it could be the motor or hopefully just a loose connection from bouncing around over the past ten years lol

My 2000 XJ pass. side and both rear windows quit on me a couple weeks back--but....they could be controlled from the drivers door.
I posted my problem, and Rockhound sent me this link:

It fixed my problem very quickly. It is very easy to bypass the window lock switch as indicated herein. I made a nice wire connection instead of the paper clip, but you can use the paper clip to verify the problem.
Let me know if this works for you--I think it will.
