well, im at work on my phone, and the search option isnt working. but when i have manual windows. and when i turn it spins out. but i i keep pulling up on the window. spinning it. and blah blah. its up. how can i fix it? whats the prob. cause its colllldddd and i use my window alot!

 

i think what you are saying is that your cranks will only take the window up so far, then you have to slide it manually? if thats the case then it should be a simple fix. id imagine that the gear is stripped and simply needs to be replaced. i hope thats what you meant...

 

Mine does the same thing, except when rolling down, I took a look at it and it's the gear stripped, but mine rolls down all the way except for about 1.5" any further than that I have to pull it up a little bit to get it to roll up..... Works ok for me, but for you, just look at the part and pickup a new one, looks simple, good luck!!!

 

well, what is the part name? ive put in keywords into autozone. and it wont pop up a gear.

 

Go to the junk yard, find a door that rolls up, and pop the gear out. You could probably even get it for free.

 

okay. is it a easy fix? if anyone has like a walk through or something. would be really nice

 

I have a similar problem too. If I roll my driver's window (manual) all the way down, it won't go up. The handle will turn but it will skip. So, for now I run around without my door panel. That way, if I forget, I can just push the window up a bit and finish it with the handle.
