Have you gotten the CEL scanned or are you just throwing parts at it trying to resolve it?

So you have JUST a cylinder 3 misfire code? Devil is in the details with OBD.

With a single cylinder misfire and the fact that you changed plugs and the coil rail, the next thing to suspect is the fuel injector. You could try swapping the injector from #3 to another cylinder and see if the misfire follows to that cylinder.

Unless this is happening just when the engine is HOT, then it might be heat soak, a pretty common problem on your vintage.

Also....keep a close eye on your coolant reservoir bottle. Your vehicle from the factory, came with the "infamous" 0331 cylinder head, which is prone to cracking, especially with an overheat, and when it does, it can lead to misfires.

The #1 symptom of a cracked 0331 head is unexplained coolant loss.

There are about 50 possibilities.

DETAIL any symptoms that go along with your codes.
