window problems..please help

Default window problems..please help

i have a 2000 cherokee classic... when i first bought this the passanger rear window did not work at all..i could only control the the windows from my drivers side switchs but if my drivers door was open the switchs will not work untill i close my door...and now the drivers side rear window stopped working..what is the problem and how can i fix this..the only windows that work now are the front windows

If they worked with the doors open and not closed, have you tried checking the wires? Sounds like a loose connection problem.

yea i took off all the door pannels today and checked all the plugs and they seemed fine ...they work with the doors closed but not open**

might be crossed wires. Have you tried opening the door to where they work and then pushing in the button that turns on the interior lights? Try them all and see if thats your problem, if its not then something loose or getting pulled. Did you check the wires going into the plugs? Sometimes they can come loose and give the plug a bad connection.

awsome..i just did the paper clip thing and now they work from their own switchs and now the drivers side rears works, unfortunatly the passanger rear still does not wotk

take that door apart, see if its getting power

could be a broken wire somewhere, OR that regulator could be bad
