You would need to go up to 5" to fit 33s,31s will fit on 3" but not if you flex it alot, witout trimming fenders.

I think 31s are great,I am putting 32s on mine but only because I got them for $200,they cost 1,200 new. but I have to lift my jeep another 3" just to fit them because I do not want to trim my fenders. So to keep it cheap I am adding bpacks to the rear and a 4" coil and 1" spacer to the front,it will cost me about what the tires are worth when I am done, not sure it is worth it but my son does.

4.5 in to fit 33s with some trimming 3 in maybe but you'll have to do a lot of trimming not advised but it can be done

im a fan of 3" and 33's

doesn't take a ridiculous amount of trimming. just as much as 5" and 33's

I've got 4.5" of lift, with 305/70/16 mtz's (33") and I rub-a-dub-dub all over the place - just city driven. My wife drove it for about a week to work and I noticed she even rubbed on the rear fenders - it just has an add a leaf and it's saggin a bit. My wife drives like Tony Stewart, fast and hard. I was glad to get it back. I've either got to go up an inch or make the move to smaller tires

31S will flex better and rub less... and have a better gear ratio for crawling...

I have 3" lift with 31" dick cepecks and its a perfect combo. any larger and I would have no gas mileage or turning radius. I get 13 mpg now. I have alot of clearance and mine is a commuter now so it sounds like yours is too. i recomend 3" with 31"
