anyone with some input on this would be greatly appreciated. so i'm out wheeling last weekend and my brakes start to go to the floor every once in a while...i think no big deal becuase they always bounced back. well i get home and there is nothin. so i look at the brakes from under the jeep and there is fluid all over my passenger side wheel. so today i go and get a new caliper and hose for that side...change it out and bleed. should be fine right? NO! I bleed it down and the pedal feels firm when the engine isn't running. but as soon as i start the motor the pedal goes right to the floor. so i bleed it while its running and it just keeps doing the same thing. turn the motor off and its fine again. this sucks....anyone with some help..please!!

As long as your pads are in place, and your calipers are all the way up against the pads,it has to be air, unless something has happened to your master cylinder.

Sometimes strange things just happen,a master cylinder can run anywhere from $50-$150,i would check with your local junkyard. But make sure you need it. Sometimes the caliper will stick and it takes a bit to get it against the pad.

yes,at the one here, yours may be more or less. we actually have two in the area and they are very resonable.
