Default Where do you have your light switch?

put some lights on my bumper, but dont know where to put the switch to control em'. Where do you have yours mounted? i want it to look flush and like its supposed to be there. also pics would be nice lol

here is how i have mounted my switched. they are mounted the same on both sides. you have to pull the dash bezel off to mount them but it is not hard

if you only need one switch you could swap in a factory fog light switch.

top one is my lights. switches from OTRATTW.com

had to pull the front dash trim, cut in about a 3/4" by 1" rectangle, and the switch is a press fit. top light in the switch comes on with the headlights, and the bottom light comes on when the switch is on.

Here is a thread I posted in. I have four lights on the front of my roof rack, two on the rear of the roof rack, and two mounted under the rear bumper.

Others posted some good suggestions too.

On my ZJ I put my two switched down back behind the 4wd lever.. u cant even see them

How are you guys cutting the bezel/dash? A Dremel? Small hand saw? and are you outlining the switch then cutting? Want to mout switches and have them fit flush and just curious. Thanks

I have mine where captainofiron has his... where the clock should be. I have the same style switches but will be changing them over to toggle style switches.

dremel and a plunge cut style bit, and yea I used the mount that came with the switch and traced it onto where I was cutting and went at it

Exactly.. if you traced the switch to make you hole the switch would fall right in.

When I put on some lights I am going to put the switch next to the rear defog switch. I might just take the defog switch out and put another switch there since my rear defog does not work anyways and don't really need to fix it lol.
