Im trying to hook up a new headlight switch in my 94 xi..the auto store doest sell a wire harness for this year so im at a loss.. if anyone has or can direct me to a picture id be very greatful.. 218-393-9775 or call or txt me.. I have 7 wire and don't know where they connect to on the switch relay..

 

Anyone have any ideas????

 

I have an 88, and I just threw my headlight high beam low beam on an on-off-on toggle switch. It this what you are talking about, or the pul **** to turn them on?

 

Im not to sure the differance between our years, so my question may make no sense. Bear with me on that. If you are talking about the bi thing that is in your steering wheel that comes down the column and under your dash, I can help there. After that, we will hope for someone else to help

 

ok, what is it that you need? The dashboard switch harness?...I have one....actually 2...

 

Its the pull out **** type headlight... I replaced the old switch but forgot to take picture of the wires connected to terminals.. as there is no wire harness to it.. I figured out my headlight wire(tan) and the main power wire(red/wht)... but don't know the rest... interior light, tail lights, dash lights..ect...

 

From the near worthless schematic on Autozone... the tail light wire should be dark blue with a red stripe. The rest can be trial and error...

Make a long jumper wire with two alligator clips. Connect one end to the positive battery terminal and the other end you test each wire one at a time to see what lights up. Touch them very quickly to begin with in case one is a ground wire (big sparks).

With a little trial and error along with some luck I got all the wire ls in there correct spot.. I took a picture for future reference and for anyone else who should need it.. thank y'all..
