Post What U-Joint do I need to order?

So i have determined that I have a bad Axle U-Joint connecting to the right/front wheel.

Please tell me what one is correct to order. I honestly have no idea what I am looking at here. If by chance they will ALL fit, please tell me which is the best choice.

Dana/spicer greasable or the Service grade or better, Moog greasable.

What year is the front axle?

Up until 1995, standard D30 shafts took Spicer 5-260x U joints. 1995 and later shafts, as well as earlier ABS shafts, use Spicer 5-297x which has a larger bearing cap. 5-760x is a stronger joint compatible with 5-297x.

Greaseable is good if you like maintenance. Spicer was the OE but Moog/Precision is a good aftermarket choice.

Would you recommend going with the 5-760x? They're only 22 bucks so I'm guessing it's worth the money to go with those.

If you want to. If you don't beat on your axles save a few bucks, they all have the same longevity.

I can't seem to find a 760x that's greasable. Or maybe I'm just an idiot

Sorry man, I can wrench, but i can't understand parts and part numbers when it comes to things like this

NOTE... I am looking for a NON greaseable one... because i most likely won't grease it

You're not an idiot, 5-760x is a non-greaseable joint.

Moog 269 is for the drive shafts, not axles. 371 is what you want for the axle. Read the description
