Default Anybody help a fella out?

Hi guys and gals. Im new here..and kinda ran into an issue. I bought my girl a 1989 cherokee laredo 4x4, with 196000 miles last November.. replaced the u joints and the oil and ran like a champ through the Missouri winter..now were here lol. It's had problems starting, changed the coil pack and still getting no spark..wants to turn over and the battery is only a year and a half old. Also it's leaking winshield fluid somewhere.. I broke the back driver door handle and need to know where to get a new one.. couldn't find one on rockauto..also would like some new back door hydraulic struts as they are shot too.. any help is appreciated!

NAPA or any auto parts place will have the struts. Door handle = scrapyard part, or try www.car-part.com if you can't find one locally.
Windshield washer fluid- probably the reservoir where the pump mounts. Dry it off and take a look for the leak.
Starting- If it cranks like it should but doesn't fire, the CPS is a common culprit. Make sure you have power to the coil with the key on, cap, rotor and wires are in good shape first..

If you're looking to save some money, and don't mind doing a little work, you could always head to your local junk yard (I'm not sure if you have a Pull a Part near you, but thats where I go). Or, you could go to www.quadratec.com. They sell a wide variety of OEM parts and they have a very helpful live chat message center.

I bought 2 struts on ebay for $31.44 shipped.
Autozone wanted $22 for one, plus tax & I had to drive to the store.
They work great & were shipped super fast.

Click on the link in my signature. CPS testing is covered in post 7.

I would strongly recommend doing posts 1,3,4, and 5.
