Default What are these holes for?
Anyone know?? Drivers floor on transmission hump. Mines currently 2wd if it makes a difference.

I thinks thats where the TC linkage mount would bolt up to that spot..

It is. I cut the bolts holding the stock linkage in on mine when I built my direct linkage.

well when I do my 4x4 conversion this summer could I just redrill these holes or are they really needed?

I did a 4WD Conversion. That's for your TC shifter linkage. I bought the Novak cable shift instead of the stock linkage,I figured I might as well upgrade while everything was out

I actually already have the 231 Novak linkage .. So I don't need to worry about welding up those holes on the floor? I won't need them?

Those holes are for the bracket for your linkage

You need to keep those holes. They are for the bracket for your linkage

just sold my Novak linkage on eBay and bought the boostwerks linkage so I won't have to worry about the holes anymore. Way cheaper linkage and simpler!
