I ran a super stant for a while and yes, it remained a constant temp of...180*. It was supposed to be a 195*, but it would warm up to 180* and stick right there. Great for the summer I suppose, but wasn't very good in winter. I replaced it with Mopar, which ranges from 200-210 depending on conditions.

....r u using a aftermarket digital gauge or going by the factory dash gauge?......and driving conditions, ambient temp, etc., make a difference. Never heard of a "super stant". LOL

I meant "Super Stat". I went by the gauge, I didn't verify with an IR. I'm not saying some Stants don't work great, but the one I had opened too soon compared to the Mopar.
