Model: Cherokee
Engine: Supercharged 440 Magnum punched .60 - yeah right.. 4.0 like everyone else.
What is this part called?
Can I get one from a store/online or is it JY only? I bought a new stay, installed it, works great, but the top hole on this piece is elongated and makes all kinds of popping noises. sounds worse than the broken stay.
I did the same thing for my drivers side. The pin kept falling out after a few days so I decided to go with the nut and bolt. Doorless is going to be a pain now 😡

I should have been a little more specific. I have the pin, I was wondering about the holder. But I can just drill out the hole and drop in a SS shank bolt. I don't plan on removing the doors anyway. Thanks guys.

That's a Door Check Bracket and pin. The bracket can be bought from the dealer or Morris4x4, the pin should be purchased from the dealer (unless you can get an OEM elsewhere). Chinese aftermarket pins are not sized properly and won't fit snug enough.
Sometimes you can get away with installing a new bracket and pin to minimize the snapping, but the hole in the door check arm may be enlarged alot, so then you'd need a complete door check assembly.
Thanks for the help. I've already replaced my door check, I'll get a pin from the local stealership, and order this piece from Quadratec. That'll cure the issue.
