Default what if I dont have a flexplate cover?

Hello, Im new to this forum....and I have a question for you cherokee experts...

so I went under my truck to check an oil leak, and I just noticed I dont have a flexplate cover... I can see the flexplate of it... should I be worried and not drive it? or what should I do?

don't go off road
especially mudding

even driving on paved roads you will get dust and dirt up in there its not good

there are people that drive without one but I give it the

I have never purchased one
you can start there but you my end up going to a junk yard to get one

yes it protects the seals and the gear on the flex plate

Its not a complete seal though, water could still get in there if you were deep enough, but I would look at the jy for one. Autozone would probably one oem and it would cost way too much

Check the dealer or junkyard Auto zone wouldn't carry something like that. I don't think that would cause a oil leak that's probably the rear of the valve cover doing it. The shield keeps rocks and dirt out.
