Default Weird circuit box under dash

While searching under my dash for where to Mount and wire my Cb radio, I found this circuit box inline with a this group of wires. It was velcro'd to the dash lip.

What the hell is it? Jeep runs fine without it.

Most of the LoJack Systems I had to deal with back in the day when doing repo's had an LED light and were wired into the ignition. If you didn't have the "Green" Light you didn't pay and your car was disabled. We would then get the GPS signal and go pick the car up. Try googling the part numbers on the part and see if anything pops up.

I believe you are correct. I do know that it isn't any kind of GPS.

This is correct. I found this out trying to wash my windshield and having it do nothing lol.

Only reason why I yanked it is because my under dash is littered with splices and random boxes. Very bothersome when I look at it. Aftermarket security ftl

Default Mystery Box Too!

The mystery box under my dash has to do with some sort of security alarm system. I don't dare mess with it. There are a million wires coming out of it. All works fine. I'm not kicking that sleeping dog. PO knew nothing about it. It says Prolock and part of it is connected to a removable plastic key with electrical contacts on it.

Maybe its left over from Mission Impossible.

That's a flux capacitor.
If you stuff it with banana peels and used coffee grounds you can travel through time
