Could anyone tell me where I can buy this vacuum line? The line goes from the back of the valve cover to the intake manifold. 96 4.0 base sport utility

It is a breather hose for the closed crankcase ventilation (non-pcv) system. You can replace with any hose that fits or works. Mopar will be O.E.M. and cost the most. Gates probably sells hose by the foot for the cheapest. Each parts store will have a generic brand that likely sells the shaped hose with the boots on each end.
The rear hose connects to the smaller, metered air orifice and the gases are taken into the air intake manifold directly. The front has a larger opening and intakes gases after the air intake box which has passed thru the air intake filter.
Sorry I thought that’d be visible since I have it on my profile. 1996 base sport utility model.

I’ve tried googling and advanced auto, so I could just run a vacuum hose from the CCV plug to the intake manifold and it’d be okay?
I believe so. Contact the seller before you buy to ensure. The same valve cover and air intake are used. I haven't seen any differences at the junk yards in those parts.

I broke mine and repaired with a piece of brake line to eliminate the plastic portion. I did research the correct replacement and I believe this is the correct part:

I like the brake pipe idea. Simple, cheap, looks good. The plastic elbow in the valve cover is just a fixed orifice and the only important part of the system. It provides a fixed "vacuum leak" that the MAP sensor can tolerate to keep the mixture right.
