I have found Naval Jelly at Ace Hardware. The local auto part stores don't carry it around here.

I don't understand the Naval Jelly recommendation. In my experience, Naval Jelly will remove rust, which is fine. The problem is that it will leave exposed steel, which is very likely to rust again if not protected. Naval Jelly shouldn't be used alone. A rust preventive treatment should be considered for a permanent repair.

 

Then what's not to understand? Rust is cancer! Remove rust then primer then cover, you don't want to cover rust and let it keep spreading do you?

 

As long as the bare steel is treated, it's fine, but if you read earlier posts, no mention of priming or painting was made. In fact, one post suggested that Naval Jelly was a rust catalyst, which I don't believe is true.

are the floor pans the same in 2dr and 4dr models? I have a 2dr 93 and found good floor pans out of a 94 4 dr at the JY that i want to install.

 

The floor pans are the same between 2dr and 4dr. The rockers, b-pillars, and quarter panels are the only real differences between them (frame wise).
