I don't understand the Naval Jelly recommendation. In my experience, Naval Jelly will remove rust, which is fine. The problem is that it will leave exposed steel, which is very likely to rust again if not protected. Naval Jelly shouldn't be used alone. A rust preventive treatment should be considered for a permanent repair.

As long as the bare steel is treated, it's fine, but if you read earlier posts, no mention of priming or painting was made. In fact, one post suggested that Naval Jelly was a rust catalyst, which I don't believe is true.

The floor pans are the same between 2dr and 4dr. The rockers, b-pillars, and quarter panels are the only real differences between them (frame wise).
