Default UPS Delivery!!!

So, the UPS man brought me my Rusty's 3in lift with full spring packs today!!! So, hopefully in the next week or two my buddies and I will start the install. I bought a bottle of PB Blaster and plan on soaking all the shock bolts this weekend. We'll be doing the install at a local Ford dealer since my friend works there, so we'll have access to all the tools there. Is there anything else I should do/know know for the install. It's going on a 88 XJ, it's 21 years old and I really don't want to break anything, so I'm hoping the PB Blaster will come through for me.

Have fun with the rear shocks and the front leaf spring bolts.

the front leaf bolts usually end up being rusted so bad that they are stuck in the sleeve that goes in the bushing

I've heard about the top shock bolts causing issues if you break them, I'm hoping the PB Blaster will help. If not and I do happen break the bolts whats the solution for that? I haven't heard about the issues with the front leaf spring mounts. Whats the fix for that?

drill holes in your floor for the rear shocks and haven't had the front bolt break or seize yet

Good Luck with everything. Some jeeps are a pain and things break no matter what you do and some just work out. I have inserted a link on what to do in case you break a rear shock bolt...Tj

the bolts sheared off on the top of my rear shocks up inside. So what i did was take an air chisel gun (or what ever you wana call it) and pounded out the welded in nut. The i fet a bolt up and facing down (so that the threads of the bolt are facing the ground). then lined up the bolts through the plate of the mount on the shock, threw on some washers and a lock washer then tightened them down. being a dd and a weekend wheeler for about 2 years like that now and they haven't budged. i can take some pictures of it if you really need to see what im talking about.
