Default up the proverbial (oil) creek!

can anyone give a general consensus on what oil to run in XJs? there are literally hundreds of pages on this. I'm sure this won't be simple, but I'll throw it out there anyway.

There are hundreds of pages because there is no general consensus. The easiest thing to do is read every page and form your own conclusion.

Mill
It actually is simple. Anything SM or better that's on sale and isn't bundled with a Fram filter. (because you'll want to use it since it's included and shouldn't because it's junk)
From there it's really just personal preference. 5W or 10W 30 should do.

Fram isn't the only junk filter out there.

Please patronize the suppliers who have never stooped to putting marketing over quality like Wix, Napa and Mopar
